If you grew up in the 70's, then you should remember Donna Summer. Her songs were always on the radio and even in the 80's when MTV was born, you watched her videos.
As a kid I would pretend my hairbrush was a microphone and sing her songs. She had such a bright, beautiful talent that you couldn't help but get up and dance when you heard her sing.
She influenced so many of the artists who came after her, but she was a true disco original. From "The Last Dance" to "She Works Hard For the Money", her contribution to the music world will forever be remembered. R.I.P. disco queen.
